There are certain rules of etiquette that need to be followed at the roulette table. The roulette game is an exciting and interesting casino game, but being crass at the table is a big no no and people can look upon you badly if you don’t maintain your manners.

When it comes to betting in roulette, players get a certain amount of time to place their bets. Between each spin of the roulette wheel, players are usually given sixty seconds to place their bets. When the dealer spins the wheel, the players still have a few seconds to place their bets. To indicate that the time for betting is over the dealer raises his hands and says no more bets, players must stop making any bets and must wait till the next spin of the wheel.

When the wheel comes to a stop, the dealer places a marker on the table that indicates which slot the ball has fallen into. The dealer then removes all the losing bets from the table. Players are not allowed to touch their chips when the dealer is removing the losing bets. This is another important rule all players must follow or they can be asked to leave the casino.

The most important act of etiquette at a roulette table, or at any other casino game for that matter, is to be courteous. Be sure that you do not knock over another player’s chips that have been stacked on the table. Always be respectful of the dealer and the other players around you. You can even tip the dealer about every 10 spin of the wheel.

Enjoy you game, but don’t overdo it by getting drunk, being too loud or bother other players.
