Roulette Betting Systems

Using a good roulette betting system, like the Martingale system, which was first used in roulette, can be very profitable at most times. It will definitely increase the excitement in your game play and most times will make you some good money too. Let’s take a look at roulette betting systems in more detail.

Progressive Betting Systems In Roulette
If you use a progressive betting system then it means you raise your bets when you win, where as with the Martingale system it’s the opposite, you double your bets after you lose. The progressive system is better in that you make the most of your hot streaks and you still risking the same amount… so you are risking your winnings rather than your initial bankroll. In the Martingale system you are risking your bankroll and that is why many gamblers don’t use it.

Sample Progressive Betting System for Roulette
Here’s a good example of how a progressive betting system works in roulette… You bet a $1 chip on 5 different numbers, like 1-5-12-16-24 (overall cost of $5). If the ball doesn’t land on any of them, then you lose $5, but then do the same bet again on 5 numbers until you hit one. When you do hit the correct number you will have a 30 chip profit from just 1 spin ($30). Add another chip to each of those 5 numbers and if you hit one again, you will have a 60 chip profit to go with the previous 30 chip profit and this will give you a total winning of 90 chips ($90). If however you miss, then you will still be up by 20 chips. The idea is that you continue until you lose and when you do, then you just go back to betting one chip per number.

Overall I have to say that for the best way to play roulette is for you to use a good betting system, and I would use the progressive betting system and not the Martingale system.
